Margarita Mironova

Margarita Mironova

Margarita Mironova is a Lisbon‑based contemporary figurative artist. Born in 1990 in the Siberian city of Tyumen, she discovered a passion for drawing and painting at an early age. After exploring various creative disciplines she pursued formal training in fine art at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Chiang Mai University in Thailand.

Mironova’s practice spans oil painting, installation and digital media. Her work often examines the intersection between the intangible and the physical—how fleeting emotions, memories and spiritual ideas can be made visible. She draws inspiration from her experience living in Thailand and other parts of Asia, incorporating elements of Eastern philosophy and the natural world into her compositions.

Now based between Lisbon and Chiang Mai, Mironova continues to develop a body of work that invites viewers to slow down and contemplate inner landscapes. Through luminous colour, expressive brushwork and layered symbolism, she creates images that encourage introspection and a sense of quiet wonder.
